CSKA recorded a third success out of their four friendly matches so far in Turkey.

The Reds, led by head coach Nikolay Kirov, defeated Lapi (Kosovo) 2:1 in a friendly match played on the Gold City fields in Alanya.

The opponent went ahead in the score a quarter of an hour before the end after a goal by Alidema, but CSKA came back with two goals at the very end of the match, scored by Mario Topuzov and Angel Bastunov.

At the beginning of the game, central defender Ventsislav Vassilev was substituted after suffering an injury at the back of the thigh of his left leg. In the first 15 minutes Lapi was the more active team on the pitch. Chances opened up for Sandriv and Vetiv. The first one shot into goal kick, while the second one was not able to score one on one with the goalkeeper Ivan Karadzhov, who saved.

In the 23rd minute CSKA organized the most dangerous attack of the first half. After excellent actions of the captain Galin Ivanov, who kept the ball and sent to the right flank, Georgi Rusev crossed and Aleksandar Kolev shot with his head. The ball went inches from goalkeeper Avdili's left side post.

By the end of the half Kolev got another good opportunity after Ivanov's pass. The CSKA number nine went one on one with the goalkeeper, but from a small angle he did not hit the target. Vasil Shopov and Georgi Rusev also tried shots, but without success.

In the second half, all players on the bench got a chance. The Reds started to organize more and more dangerous attacks, but they were not finding their way to Avdili's goal. In the 74th minute Lapi went ahead in the score after Alidema went alone against Karadzhov and made no mistake for 1:0. By the end of the match, CSKA rushed into attack in search of an equalizer and the winning goal.

Daudet N'dongala tried his luck from a volley once, and a little later he dribbled past several defenders and went into the penalty area, but his shot was blocked by the goalkeeper. In the 85th minute, Denislav Aleksandrov intercepted in Lapi's penalty area and found Mario Topuzov instantly, who failed to score from close range.

In the 87th minute, however, Topuzov was far more precise in his attacking actions. After a cross from the left, Kristian Grozdanov tried a header, the keeper saved and Topuzov scored with a tap-in for 1:1. Just two minutes later the turnaround was complete. Angel Bastunov stole the ball after unconvincing goalkeeper's actions and scored for 2:1 to bring the victory for CSKA in the friendly match.

In their last friendly game in Turkey, The Reds will take on Poland's Miedz Legnica on February 5. The starting time of the match is yet to be announced. On February 6 CSKA travels back to Sofia.
