Krasimir Petrov is no longer head coach of CSKA

Krasimir Petrov is no longer head coach of CSKA 1948.

After parting ways with the 39-year-old specialist, the coaching staff of The Reds remains the same. Krasimir Balakov will continue to perform his duties only as general manager of CSKA.

A process has been launched for selection of a new Head coach of the team, and his name will be announced as soon as possible.

Petrov joined the coaching staff of The Reds at the end of September 2020, having previously led CSKA U19.

As head coach of the first team, he led CSKA to the sixth place in the efbet League at the mid-season. The team also reached the quarterfinals of the Bulgarian Cup.

CSKA thanks Krasimir Petrov for everything achieved so far and wishes him many new professional successes! We believe that they are yet to come!
